Accessibility Statement
This site is built as a single-purpose landing page for a book and its bonus PDF. The goal is for the page to be usable by as many people as possible, including those who rely on assistive technologies.
What we have done
- Used clean semantic HTML so screen readers can navigate by headings, links, and landmarks.
- Provided meaningful alternative text for the book cover and other content images.
- Maintained sufficient colour contrast between text and backgrounds.
- Used readable font sizes and line spacing on every screen size.
- Made every interactive element reachable and operable with the keyboard, with a visible focus ring.
- Honoured the operating-system "reduce motion" preference — transitions and scrolling slow or stop when the user has set that preference.
- Set the document language and a logical heading hierarchy on every page.
Compatibility
The site is intended to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox) and with screen readers including VoiceOver, NVDA, and JAWS. As browsers and assistive technologies evolve, the site may be updated to reflect new best practices.
Known limitations
The bonus material is a PDF, which is hosted as-is. PDFs vary in how well they work with screen readers; if you have trouble accessing the PDF or want the content in a different format, contact us using the address below and we will provide an alternative.
